Creating and managing the subscription; double opt-in verification; sending monthly regulatory content for selected topics; preference updates and unsubscribe; legal obligations; IYS processes when enabled; security and abuse prevention.

Consent for electronic communications and newsletter delivery; compliance with applicable legal obligations; technical processing necessary for secure service delivery.

How data is collected

Data is collected directly from you via the website newsletter panel/form and email confirmation / preference-centre links.

Service providers and recipients

Authorized processors may be used for email delivery and hosting (email API, database host, hosting platform). The feature will not go live until the provider list and transfer assessment are completed. PierCompliance OÜ is not the controller for this newsletter system.

International transfers

Until email and database hosting regions are verified, definitive statements such as “stored only in Türkiye” or “stored only in the EU” are not made. The system will not be enabled in production before the transfer assessment is complete.

Retention

For the duration of an active subscription and thereafter as required for legal and evidentiary obligations after unsubscribe/withdrawal; then deletion or anonymization per retention policy.

Double opt-in

Submitting the form does not activate the subscription. You must click the verification link sent to your email. No newsletter or marketing message is sent before confirmation.

Changing preferences

Use the “Update preferences” link in each newsletter to change language, topics and consents without a password.

Unsubscribe

Use the “Unsubscribe” link in each email for one-click exit. No password or account is required.

IYS processes

Commercial electronic message consents and withdrawals are recorded for İleti Yönetim Sistemi (IYS) obligations. If automatic IYS connectivity is not enabled, records remain in a manual transfer queue.
